I watched your documentary in planning for my month-long TX motorbus trip, and I loved it. Many documentaries about cuisines neglect the important cultural aspect of it, and it was amazing to learn how cooking is used to keep heritage alive in Texas-Mexica. I recently finished a degree in spatial information systems/geography, and I find food culture geography incredibly fascinating (I am contemplating getting a doctorate in this area). This film was a good reminder of how to write about food in a respectful and immensely interesting way. I’m looking forward to seeking out some of the places and flora shown in the show on my trip!
